NSW BRANCH MEETING

NSW  DLP REGIONAL BRANCH ELECTED

The NSW Regional Branch was convened 2nd September 2010. 

The following office bearers were elected:

 

PRESIDENT: Dr Simon McCaffrey

1st Vice PRESIDENT: Vacant

2nd Vice PRESIDENT: Mr Robert Haddad

TREASURER: Mr Stephen Rawson

SECRETARY: Mr Nick Williams

Assitant SECTRETARY: Mr Boutros Zalloua

All official DLP statements in relationship to State Media Releases, Nominations and Candidates for the NSW branch will be made through the NSW Secretary Mr Nick Williams.

WARNING TO NSW MEMBERS

Members should be aware that 2 former NSW members - Michael Webb and Michael O'Donoghue - have been in contact with DLP members seeking funds and attempting to destabilise the NSW DLP Branch. 

These ex members are requesting payments to be directed to 4 Dianella Crt, Warabrook, NSW 2304.

This in NOT a DLP address and members should send funds ONLY to the DLP address at PO Box 6/79a Balaclava Rd, Eastwood NSW 2122. Aside from the postal address a fraudalent website has also been created and Mr Webb continues to approach members through social networking sites. The authorised Democratic Labor Party website is: www.dlp.org.au

Mr Webb and Mr O'Donoghue were expelled from the DLP for extreme disloyalty and for assisting in the redirection of funds from the Victorian State Branch by the former Vic Secretary John Mulholland. Anyone contacted by these persons should contact the Acting Secretary Mr Nick Williams on 0438 155 859.

The Federal Executive will contact the NSW members soon regarding the date for the State Conference. Notification will also be placed on the Web.

Please note that no other persons are authorised to conduct Federal  business for the DLP in New South Wales until the election of a NSW State Executive at the State Conference to be held after the Federal Election in 2010.
